The duration of cataleptic behavior correlated well with that increase in sulpiride. Sulpiride kinetics was compared with that of dopamine and 1-methyl-1, 4-phenylpyridi-nium(MPP+). Dopamine and MPP+ were administered intrastriatally and were taken up into dopaminergic neurons within 1h after the end of injection.
