The 3rd grade elementary schoolchildren consider teachers to be \"their absolute superiors\" and use consistently honorific in conversation, although their knowledge of an honorific is deficient. In the data of the 6th grade elementary and the 2nd grade junior schoolchildren the intimacy and the various self-expressions to a teacher are observed overwhelmingly. They are attaching greater importance to the intimacy with a teacher than to a vertical relation.
