| 内容記述 | While this paper focuses on non-regular employment which showed a rapid expansion after the economic crisis of 1997-98, and on identifying the actual situation using various statistical data, it also investigates the influence the changes in that employment system bring to the South Korean economy. First, in Section 1, after putting in order a classification and definition of the South Korean employment system, the long-term changes and the actual state of the employment system were clarified using various statistical data. In Section 2, according to the consumptive-class income hypothesis, the increase in non-regular employment reduced aggregate consumption by the difference in the propensity to consume between classes; it led to a reduction in total demand; and it was verified whether there would be a restriction of economic growth. In Section 3, it was additionally elucidated that, regarding the subgroup which cannot be fully explained by the class income hypothesis, it appears that the deregulation of consumer credit which the government undertook after the economic crisis is greatly linked thereto. | |||||
