First, in Section 1, after putting in order a classification and definition of the South Korean employment system, the long-term changes and the actual state of the employment system were clarified using various statistical data. In Section 2, according to the consumptive-class income hypothesis, the increase in non-regular employment reduced aggregate consumption by the difference in the propensity to consume between classes; it led to a reduction in total demand; and it was verified whether there would be a restriction of economic growth.
