| 内容記述 | In this paper, we aim to clarify the similarities and differences between native speakers of Japanese and Chinese learners of Japanese when both parties write expository taxts in Japanese, with a special focus upon their ways of developing logical lines in text. In order to achieve this goal, we investigated opinion-expressing texts written in Japanese by a group of native Japanese and one of Chinese learners of Japanese, based upon Ichikawa's(1978) idea of Bun-Rensetu-Ron or Sentence-Connections. Through our analysis, we have found that there are notable differences between the two groups in their use of connective patterns such as jyunsetu (copulative), taihi (contrastive), tenkan (topic-changing), and hosoku (complementary). We have also found that Chinese learners use more jyunsetu and tenkan patterns than native Japanese, and that native Japanese use more hosoku and taihi than Chinese learners. Meanwhile, we have found that both groups show a very similar tendency in their use of gyakusetu (adversative), tenka (additive), dooretu(appositive) and rensa (conjunction-less relevant chaining) patterns. | |||||
