| 内容記述 | In this study, the formation mechanism of the meanings of the sentence-final particle LE in the propositional domain, is defined as follows. In a sentence containing the sentence-final particle LE in the propositional domain, if the semantic focus falls on the predicate representing the meaning of “instant”, the LE will show the meaning of “occurrence”, but if the semantic focus falls on the sentence element representing the meaning of “process / static phase”, the LE will show the meaning of “replacement”. This study attempts to test and verify this formation mechanism with different kinds of illustrative sentences. | |||||
