In a sentence containing the sentence-final particle LE in the propositional domain, if the semantic focus falls on the predicate representing the meaning of “instant”, the LE will show the meaning of “occurrence”, but if the semantic focus falls on the sentence element representing the meaning of “process / static phase”, the LE will show the meaning of “replacement”.
