| 内容記述 | It has been clarified in previous studies that micro cracks in enamel can be attributed to polymerization shrinkage of composite resins thus resulting in microleakage. These micro cracks in enamel which also occur with aging could also give rise to symptoms of dental pulp hypersensitivity resulting from the subsequent microleakage. This is further aggravated by an unaesthetic clinical appearance of dark brown lines resulting from secondary caries. In this research, mouth examination in the clinic and Scanning Electron Microscopic observation of the replica of the teeth of ten patients in their teens and in their seventies was conducted. In addition, the extent of resin impregnation technique to restore these teeth was observed with a laser microscope. Micro cracks as a result of aging were observed in adult samples. It was noted that the rate of crack formation in healthy teeth is directly proportional to an individual's age. The crack increased along with the age. The occurrence of crack increased rapidly in patients 40 years old and above. This is equivalent to 95% of the subjects studied. Micro cracks were commonly observed along the cervical part of teeth compared with the other parts. The incidence of cracked teeth was mostly related to the presence of tooth restoration. Teeth in young patients that were restored exhibited higher rate of the micro cracks. This suggests that caries prevention is the most important factor in the prevention of cracked teeth. In addition, resin impregnation is an effective technique to restore cracked teeth. | |||||

| 内容記述 | コンポジットレジンの重合収縮によって、エナメル質に微小亀裂が生じ、漏洩の原因になることは、すでに明らかにされているが、加齢に伴って歯に生じた亀裂も、漏洩により知覚過敏などの歯髄症状、二次う蝕、褐線の着色による審美的障害を生じて臨床で問題になることが多い｡そこで本研究では、歯の亀裂発生について、その頻度と年齢あるいは修復物との関係等について調査し、その対処法の検討を行った｡10代～70代の各10名の患者の口腔内診査とレプリカ観察を行い、亀裂の有無を調べ、各年齢層における健全歯、修復歯の亀裂発生率、さらに現在歯の歯種別の亀裂発生率を算出した｡また、走査型共焦点レーザー顕微鏡を用いて、レジンインプレグネーションテクニックによる亀裂の封鎖状態を観察した｡その結果、健全歯の亀裂発生率は、年齢と共に増加し40代以降では95%を超える高い値を示した｡部位別では、最大豊隆部より歯頚部の方が亀裂の数が多かった。 レジン修復歯は、20代で亀裂の発生が急激に増加し40代以降は100%に近い高発生率を示した｡若年者において健全歯よりも修復歯の亀裂発生率が高いことから、たとえ修復が行われたとしても、修復後の障害の可能性が高く、う蝕予防が重要であることが示唆された｡レジンインプレグネーションテクニックを行うことは、審美性の改善と亀裂の封鎖に有効であることが明らかになった。 | |||||
