| 内容記述 | This paper provides an overview of the definition and classification of voice constructions in Japanese and Chinese. First, it attempts to define the voice category in Japanese and Chinese and reviews previous studies on voice, then it examines which types of construction should be considered central and peripheral in the voice category in both languages. Furthermore, we focus on the benefactive nature of voice constructions in Japanese and Chinese and clarify the differences in the definition and classification of voice between the two languages. | |||||||||
