| 内容記述 | The Epidermis of euthymic mice (+/+) contains a distinct T cell subset called dendritic epidermal T cells (DETC). The majority of these cells are derived from early fetal thymocytes and express invariant γδ T cell receptor (TCR) composed of Vγ3/Vδ1 chain. However, the author found the T cells considered as DETC in aged athymic nude mice (nu/nu). These DETC were consisted of Vγ3^-γδ^+ subset and αβ^+ subset, and demonstrated lower expression of the CD3/TCR complex in comparison with normal Vγ^3+ DETC. The αβ^+ subset was heterogeneous in the Vβ usage. Furthermore, the DETC in aged nu/nu uniformly expressed IL-2Rβ chain even in resting states. These results indicate the age-dependency of the extrathymically maturated DETC, and the phenotypic, possibly functional difference from the thymus-derived DETC. | |||||
