| 内容記述 | The data from large clinical trials are essential for practicing evidence based medicine (EBM). The main reasons why physicians and patients today are convinced of the merits of lowering elevated BPs come directly from the results of randomized, blinded, prospective, multicenter, large clinical trials that have conclusively proved that active treatment with medications reduces cardiovascular risk. The purpose of this chapter is to summarize the history of major clinical trials for the treatment of hypertensive patients. | |||||
