| 内容記述 | Multimodality approach for the diagnoses and treatments for malignant tumors has improved the survival and quality of life. The principles of treatment of osteosarcoma have undergone dramatic changes in past 40 years. Until 1960's, five-year survival was less than 10%. The advancement of chemotherapy has improved the prognosis, and 70% of the patients can be expected to be long-term survivors. Conservative surgery combined with radio-chemotherapy has improved not only the prognosis but also the function of affected limbs. Teamwork of well-trained medical stuff is extremely important for the treatment of malignant tumors. | |||||
