"小腸瘻からの栄養管理はガイドライン上，最大でも100ml/hr以下とされている．そのため経口摂取困難な患者に対し，すべての栄養を小腸瘻を用いて投与する場合，長時間の投与を余儀なくされる．また，栄養剤が直接小腸内に投与されることによりダンピング症候群やコントロール困難な下痢，腹部膨満感などの消化器症状が発生する．今回我々は基礎疾患に筋萎縮性側索硬化症(ALS: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)を有する胃癌患者に対し，胃全摘術および小腸瘻造設術を行い,｢REF-P1 (粘土調整食品)」（以下REF-P1)を用いて消化器症状の改善，投与時間の短縮が可能であった症例を経験した．長期臥床患者に対する小腸瘻管理は困難な場合があるが,
