| 内容記述 | Portfolio assessment has been used in the United States and in Canada as a better tool to assess students’ achievements in language education. From the late 1980s, European researchers also considered it as an adequate method to consolidate their project to develop a common reference framework for language learning, and the Council of Europe adopted its achievement to develop and implement the European Language Portfolio widely in Europe for the purpose of the protection and promotion of their linguistic and cultural diversity. The purpose of this research paper is to provide an overview of the piloting process of the European Language Portfolio to study the linguistic policies of both the Council of Europe and the European Union. | |||||
