No significant steady Taylor-Gortler vortices are found and the flow field is completely two-dimensional throughout the entire region of the entrance section. When arranged with wall variables, the time-mean velocity and turbulent stress distributions in the vicinity close to the walls are slightly affected by the wall curvature, while the skewness and flatness of the velocity fluctuation are strongly affected by it. Triple velocity correlations follow a complicated progress to arrive at fully developed states.
