It was announced in December 2016 as the result of actual survey of unregistered farmland etc. of inheritance. This survey cooperated with the agricultural committee. The unregistered farmland nationwide, including the potential agricultural land area, was 930,000 ha. Agricultural land registry of the agricultural committee has been started as a statutory ledger of agricultural land law since 2014. This survey is the result of the agricultural committee checking the ledger once a year against the municipal property tax rental register. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries compiled and announced it. In this report, unregistered areas of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries found that there is a correlation with the difference between cultivated land area survey and farmland area of fixed asset tax office. In order to solve this problem in the future, it is necessary to investigate the actual condition of the site and to conduct further research.
