内容記述 | We examined the relations among grit, which supports the accomplishment of long-term goals, and perceptions of classroom and parents' goal structure. Goal structure has two types: mastery goal structure is that people think the improvement in their own ability and the growth process are most important, while performance goal structure is that people think scores and the comparison with others are most important. The result of this study suggested that students who perceived their classroom as more mastery goal-oriented were grittier, and students who perceived their classroom as more performance goal-oriented were less gritty. Students who perceived their parents as more mastery goal-oriented were also grittier. However, there was no significant relationship between grit and whether parents were perceived as performance goal-oriented. By the way the relationship between grid and the perception of the goal structure was suggested to be different depending on the grad. The first graders were just after the junior high school entrance examination, and the third graders were just before the high school entrance examination, suggesting that the awareness of the entrance examination may have some influence. Although this study only asked how they perceived goal structure, it is possible that the classroom atmosphere and parental interaction may influence their grit through the goal structure perceived by them. We encourage future research to examine more directly and closely the influence of the goal structure for grit. | |||||||||||||
