| 内容記述 | Orthostatic dysregulation (OD), periodic vomiting, migraine and irritable colon are the autonomic nervous disorders seen in childhood, and OD, which frequently occurred in preadolescence and adolescence, is especially important among them. The concept of OD was established in Germany and introduced to Japan. The diagnosis of OD has been scarcely made in most countries except a few including Germany and Japan. As previously reported in Japan, about 10 % of school children are considered to have OD. OD, characterized by altered cardiovascular control on standing, has circulatory symptoms (postural hypotension, dizziness, palpitation), gastrointestinal symptoms and other non-specific complaints. The criteria for diagnosis of OD consists of five major symptoms and ten minor symptoms. Four of the minor symptoms are related to the changes in blood pressure, heart rate and ECG findings before and after standing for 10 or 15 minutes. Some kinds of vasopressor agents are usually given to children with OD for a short period to improve their quality of life. | |||||
