Dysentery has not occurred since the outbreak at this district in 1987. The monthly frequency of food poisoning was higher in the summer, particularly in August, and lower in the winter. The frequency of drug-induced enteritis did not vary notably with the season, although it tended to increase in the winter and to decrease in the summer.
