In this symposium, four representative imaging techniques capable of providing not only structural but functional aspects of the brain. BOLD functional MRI is the preferred method of brain activation for functional localization. T2 reversed (T2R) high resolution imaging take an advantage of high signal to noise ratio (S/N) of high-field system and provides an exceptionally high anatomical resolution. Three dimensional anisotropy contrast (3DAC) axonograpy is the technique unique in its capability of providing axonal connectivity.
