| 内容記述 | Effects of the treatment of superovulation, culture, and freezing and thawing on mammalian eggs or embryos were electron-microscopically, cytogenetically and histochemically examined, and the normality of the treated eggs or embryos was discussed. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The higher incidence of polyspermy in hamster eggs superovulated by the injection of 90 IU PMSG was related to the smaller amount of cortical granules in these eggs. 2. Mouse blastocysts superovulated by the injections of 5 IU PMSG and 5 IU hCG were normal in their morphology. 3. The cell function was higher in the mouse blastocysts developed in vitro compared with that of blastocysts developed in vivo. 4. Bovine eggs matured and fertilized in vitro, and embryos developed in vitro were morphologically normal. 5. Morphological damages in 8-cell mouse embryos brought forth by freezing and thawing were repaired through the subsequent culture. | |||||
