Profound Influence of Education on Medical Graduates for their Choice of Specialty and Locality in both Carrier Development and Practice (Education of Clinical Medical Sciene)
Niigata is substantially one of the most depopulated prefecture of medical doctors in Japan. Maldistribution of doctors is also noted. Medical education has a great influence on graduates' choice of specialty and locality of practice for carrier development. We should keep it in mind that a larger number of good affiliate hospitals available are allegedly requisite to attract more graduates, as well. To improve the current serious situations, the faculty staff should think much of education and manage to involve all members of staff, not only teaching staffs but also training residents. Students' evaluation of education would be of use for improvement of class ; it would be helpful to teachers for evolving education. A good role model of doctor nearby is deeply influential to students. To promote academic activity and to gain much more attractiveness on the university campus would be surely a steady way to solve our problems, as well as good practice of medical care in affiliate hospitals.
