DLCの機能評価は主にin vitro/ex vivoで検討されているが, このへばりつき現象を良好に再現できる実験系が存在しないため, その発症を効率的に予防できるDLCは未だに開発されていない. 【目的】へばりつき現象をex vivoにおいて再現し評価できる体外循環回路系を開発する. 【方法】食肉加工目的に屠殺されたブタから奇静脈(ブタ血管)を摘出し, これを加工して擬似血管とする回路系を作成した. この疑似血管をグリセリン中に浮遊させながら内腔に循環血液流量(Qv)100～300mL/minで37℃の50%のグリセリン溶液を循環させた. この疑似血管に2種類のエンドホール型DLCを接続し, やはり血液回路内を37℃の50%のグリセリン溶液で満たして血液流量(Qb)100～300mL/minで循環させた. この系において, DLCの疑似血管へのへばりつき現象を直視下で検討した.
