Various researches on Child-rearing-anxiety started in 1973 when a media-hyped infanticide case occurred. Most of the studies have concluded that the main cause of child-rearing-anxiety is isolation of the mothers. Especially, researches by Makino Katsuko who formulated the rating scale for child-rearing-anxiety have been considered revolutionary, because her research could release mothers from their responsibilities for caring their children. Although Makino's scale is still widely used, the present study points out some problems in her scale. Firstly, some items of her scale are not suited to the reality of child-rearing-anxiety. Secondly, mother's isolation does not always cause a high rate of child-rearing-anxiety. Thirdly mothers who are rated low in her anxiety scale are not always problem-free.}, pages = {83--100}, title = {育児不安研究の現状と課題}, volume = {49}, year = {2010} }
