It is thought that the case caused a fatal damage to political education in Japan on the one hand, and there is an established reputation that the educational practice in the Asahi Junior High School was an example of excellent political education on the other hand. This paper pays attention especially to the actual educational practice in the school before the practice came into question. The reason for this approach is because from inside we should reexamine the existing view of this case which has been affected politically from outside. Our analysis of the class newsletters, which were published at that time, reveals that the learning process in the school was gradually becoming stiff and dwarfed. It is necessary for us to review the case in the context of the whole postwar educational history once more hereafter. Also it is necessary for us to pursue what is more desirable political education at school.}, pages = {65--82}, title = {旭丘中学事件が示す政治教育としての学習の方向性 : 事件化に至るまでの学校現場における教師の指導を中心に}, volume = {49}, year = {2010} }
