 note = {Of many Manchurian Library works left to this day, Ushijima Haruko's A Man Named Shuku has often been discussed, and the text has been reprinted and introduced as a famous literary work written by a Japanese author. A comparison of seven reprints of the publication to the present, reveals some modifications in the paragraphs and contexts. No articles have been written so far as to what extent each modification was made and what kind of modifications were made. Therefore, the present article will reevaluate the character of Shuku after making these modifications clear.},
