 note = {This study aims at exploring the educational significance of utilizing the local community as a workplace of art in the art classes in junior high schools. After developing the possible forms of collaborative activities based on the various examples done in the past, these examinations the significance of such activities done in cooperation with the local people and the community. As a result, it proves that there are mutual gains between the students and the residents in the local community in collaborative art activities and that there are positive effects on students in terms of art education and other educational effects. The future research will be to detect the changes and development of artistic skills and competence through these art activities, and find a way of describing them.},
