Therefore, this paper focuses on the media use of foreign students, to verify the correlation among students’ media use, their cross-cultural adaptation, and the height of interest in international issues. A questionnaire survey and interviews were carried out with the international students of Niigata University. According to the survey, we know that there is a correlation between the contact frequency with the home country and their cross-cultural adaptation. Also, a correlation between the choice of the news source (home country / host country) and the height of interest in international issues relationship has been confirmed.
