 note = {The media environment’s global changes of the 2010s have influenced international students’ everyday lives and social lives. Therefore, this paper focuses on the media use of foreign students, to verify the correlation among students’ media use, their cross-cultural adaptation, and the height of interest in international issues. A questionnaire survey and interviews were carried out with the international students of Niigata University. According to the survey, we know that there is a correlation between the contact frequency with the home country and their cross-cultural adaptation. Also, a correlation between the choice of the news source （home country / host country） and the height of interest in international issues relationship has been confirmed. According to the interview, we also know that some students choosing the news source are based on the personal relationships with their home country.},
