The subjects were divided into groups on the basis of how often they were absent and whether they attended makeup sessions. Transactional analysis was attempted to the subjects who had not received credit for the course and self-actualization and self growth were examined, trying to find out whether they were related to educational effectiveness. 1. The result of the grouping of the students showed that those who recorded 1~5 absences (normal group) formed the largest group occupying 66.0% and those who attended all the sessions formed the next largest group (excellent group) occupying 21%. 2. The group which showed the highest values for ego status was the excellent group, with statistical significance (p<0.01). FC was the highest with those who attended makeup sessions and AC was high with those who did not attend the sessions with statistical Significance. 3. The group actively involved showed high values in A in ego status and the inactive group showed high values in FC and AC. 4.
