The sample from the Aichi strain (H3N2) gave 2 peaks after elution of the affininty column. The fractions from the first one showed a 1: 1 ratio of HA to NA activities, an abnormally high NA activity. These fractions also showed lower reactivity with the anti HA and NA antisera. These suggested that, although there is no difference between the antigenicities of the purified sample and the original sample, the HA and the NA exert steric inhibition on each other.}, pages = {173--181}, title = {Isolation of hemagglutinin with neuraminidase activity from influenza A/Aichi/2/68 (H3N2) strain}, volume = {33}, year = {1986} }
