The carcinoids were characterized by a trabecular pattern frequently exhibiting an acinar arrangement of tumor cells with intracytoplasmic red-brown granules on routine hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. Their incidences of hormone-immunoreactivities were as follows: serotonin, 100%; neurotensin, 33%; somatostatin, 29%; glicentin, 20%; peptide YY, 20%; and pancreatic polypeptide, 14%. Ultrastructurally, the tumors were composed mainly of ECl and/or ECn cells. Among them, one tumor showed atypical nuclei, a few mitoses, and regional lymph nodal metastasis at the time of primary tumor resection. However, others revealed uniform nuclei, but neither mitosis nor nodal metastasis. Goblet cell differentiation was not found in any of the carcinoids. No patients had any recurrence or metastasis in the course of 1.5 to 7.5 years of follow-up. We conclude that rectal argentaffin carcinoids should be categorized as a distinct group, and that they behave in a low-grade malignant manner except for cases with higher nuclear atypia and mitotic activity.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_7_publisher_7":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Niigata University School of Medicine"}]},"item_7_select_19":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_select_item":"publisher"}]},"item_7_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA00508361","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_7_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"05677734","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Iwafuchi, Mitsuya"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53246","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Watanabe, Hidenobu"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53247","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nishikura, Ken"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53248","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Tanaka, Kazuo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53249","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Noda, Yutaka"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53250","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Itagaki, Tetsurou"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"53251","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2019-08-06"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"42(2)_79-86.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"42(2)_79-86.pdf","url":"https://niigata-u.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/6505/files/42(2)_79-86.pdf"},"version_id":"81c4b568-ef1d-4498-911b-3cf28cf0b6a9"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Argentaffin Carcinoid Tumors of the Rectum : An Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural Study","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Argentaffin Carcinoid Tumors of the Rectum : An Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural Study"},{"subitem_title":"Argentaffin Carcinoid Tumors of the Rectum : An Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural Study","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"7","owner":"1","path":["456","627"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2015-09-04"},"publish_date":"2015-09-04","publish_status":"0","recid":"6505","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Argentaffin Carcinoid Tumors of the Rectum : An Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural Study"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":null},"updated":"2022-12-15T03:39:49.534819+00:00"}
