Desmin, myosin and actin were present in the regions of rods but not vimentin. Tropomyosin was irregularly seen in these regions, and with less intensity. We concluded that it is possible that, in this disease, there is a derangement of the assembly of architectural and contractile proteins, which secondarily assume a particular subsarcolemmal disposition forming rods.}, pages = {99--102}, title = {Immunohistochemical Study of Rods in Nemaline Myopathy}, volume = {44}, year = {1996} }
