 note = {The purpose of this study is to clarify how historic buildings in Aikawa remain and to understand design characteristic of those buildings. This is to make a basic report for expected district designation and establishment of design guidelines. Major results are as follows: 1) 776 historic buildings were counted, 2) Among those we extracted representative 14 types by design characteristic in 440 buildings that we judged to be town houses.
