It is composed of a normal snow tire wheel and a spike wheel which has projection-ajustable studded tread, according to the road surface condition. To get practical information of adhesional characteristics of such a new wheel system, experimental and analytical works were carried out, on slippery condition surfaces of snow-or ice-covered roads.
