The retaliatory sanctions of Russia were introduced on August 7, 2014, an embargo on the importation of food products from the EU countries and a number of other countries as anti-sanctions. After political movements, the Russian greenhouse industry received a new impulse to new development. This study first overviewed the history and development of higher education in the Republic of Buryatia, Russian in order to identify key roles in agriculture education development of the higher in Siberia and the Far East. Secondly, the study determined the gap by distinguishing five stages of greenhouse farming from its evolution in the 1930s in the USSR to modern Russia. Thirdly, the study analyzed the current situation in the industry and systemized technological features of exploited greenhouse constructions. Next, overviewed state support policies for the greenhouse industry, analyzed greenhouse production data, and surveyed the agricultural education system in Russia focused on higher education for the greenhouse industry. The main objective of the study was proposed that the influence of agricultural education in the development of the greenhouse industry in Russia had a significant role in the country’s greenhouse development. The study proved that the development of new educational programs, as well as greenhouse industry support will have a rapid future development.
