This paper introduces some of the archival document collections at Niigata University Library and explains how faculty and librarians are collaborating to develop a unique system of arrangement. This paper reports on the Niigata University Library's attempt to make not only archival documents, but also rare books (Japanese and Chinese) available to the public.
