 note = {庄屋文書、武家文書などと呼ばれている古文書は多くの公共図書館、大学図書館が所蔵しており、その整理は様々である。本稿では、本学図書館が所蔵している古文書群の中から特色ある古文書を数点紹介し、図書館員と教員が協力し進めている独自の整理方法を合わせて紹介する。そして、本学が古文書とともに貴重資料として扱っている「国書」「漢籍」の公開状況と、古文書等の特殊資料整理を行い、一般市民への公開を積極的に進めるため、図書館に新しく特殊資料係という担当部署を設けた経緯を報告する。There are a number of universities that have collections of documents relating to village headmasters and samurai families, and each one has its own system of arrangement. This paper introduces some of the archival document collections at Niigata University Library and explains how faculty and librarians are collaborating to develop a unique system of arrangement. This paper reports on the Niigata University Library's attempt to make not only archival documents, but also rare books (Japanese and Chinese) available to the public. In order to make significant progress in processing archival and other special materials so that they will be available to the public, the Library has created a specialist position responsible for Special Collections.},
