The activities of this class are trying to interconnect a classroom with the real society, and also to take aim at student's autonomous study. This paper aims to describe the record of Project Work class in 1997 and from this description tried to focus on teacher's role as an adviser in this class. As far as teacher's role as an adviser, we have to think of the list of learner's strategy, which is one of the most important factors to make the teacher's role clear. In this paper, how indirect learner's strategies are connected with teacher's role was discussed. The list of teacher's role as an adviser shows the following : 1. Sharing the aim of Project Work class and a lot of information with learners 2. Having consciousness of an adviser and counselor 3. Setting the situation which learners make a choice of social strategies 4.
