First, it can measure natural movement of human body noninvasivcly. Second, for even a person passed away, if his/her action is recorded on a film or video, it can reconstruct his/her movement. This paper introduces an articulated model to represent human body motion, and describes some approaches for measuring body movement by matching the model with a human body in images.
