Previously, methodology courses were not taken until the third or fourth year; however, the new curriculum makes it possible for students in their second year to take such a course. So we have the new subject for the preparation to participate in the course. At first, I required my class to summarize a part of some books. All my class (19 members) reported their summaries during the first two weeks of the course. Naturally I had little time to comment each of them. So I devided students five groups and from the third week the group reported summaries. After all the groups reported, I required them to select some topic and report it. I hoped students learn the way to summarize, report and debate. I think that my class learned the way to summarize to a certain degree but could little learn how to report and debate. I suppose the reason why we couldn't have sufficient fruit is that only a few students showed positive attitude though many have interest in various economic or social problems. I think we need bring students to take a positive attitude to study.}, pages = {166--168}, title = {経済学部教養演習を行ってみて}, volume = {2}, year = {1996} }
