 note = {Multimedia WWW contents on the internet were developed as a educational tool for the lectures on our chemical engineering course in the faculty of engineering. We transformed a textbook and a manual on the subject of "Chemical Engineering Calculations" and "Basic Experiments on Chemistry" for freshman to the WWW contents on the internet. The WWW contents included multimedia files including text, figures of equations and charts, and videos for experiments and real industrial facilities. A copyright issue needs to be noted through producing contents on the internet. On the multimedia utilized lectures, the WWW pages on a computer display were projected on a screen by a projector. A pen-tablet for drawing on the screen was used for an assistance of the presentation. Applicable improvement on comprehension for the students has been achieved by an application of the internet contents as a lecture tool. The internet proved to be a new and powerful tool for the education in the chemical engineering course. The style of the present multimedia utilized lecture will be an alternative to the conventional style of lecture by hand writing on a black board.},
