Data was collected by a survey of 46 students who participated in a lecture given on January 20, 1997. The purpose of the survey was to measure respondent attitudes about the lecture's, consider existing class form and present some new suitable systems. Questionnaire is consisted of three major points of view; (1) effectiveness as a catalyst for learning; (2) usefulness of various teaching materials and patterns; and (3) appropriateness of video films and limbic kits. Based on the results of the survey, this study presents some recommendations for improving the class. The following suggestions are thought to increase the effectiveness of instruction: (1) having frequent meetings to discuss how to improve the lecture's intended message; (2) increasing the use of audio visual materials and other limbic aids; (3) encouraging students to participate in the duplication and selection of audio visual materials; (4) editing and publishing a suitable text for courses; (5) using a teaching assistant to reinforcement the lecture; (6) requiring frequent attendance in lectures by calling the roll of students; (7) developing assignments, discussion activities, and measurements (i.e., quizzes) that are preferred by the students.}, pages = {133--144}, title = {オムニバス形式での総合講座「現代都市論」の教育効果をあげる工夫(教育改善・授業評価等調査)}, volume = {3}, year = {1997} }
