However, because there is almost no way for technical high school students to enter the national university, only few seriously challenge to study there through their own efforts. Therefore, we thought that we should prepare an entrance examination system which fits their educational background in order to activate technical high schools on the one hand and national universities on the other in the long run. We started the research project on carriculums and educational methods for them in 1994 and began to admit some technical high school students into the Faculty of Engineering in 1995. We now have 52 students from different technical high schools in the total of 1,000 first and second year students in the Faculty of Engineering. Because they are studying both basic and applied fields now, we surveyed their records in those two fields at the end of 1996 academic year. We started supplementary lessons in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for them in 1995 and collected the voices both from the students who attended them and from the teachers in charge. This survey shows that their records are almost the same as the average records of the other students and better than those expected when we started this project.}, pages = {39--56}, title = {専門高校卒業生を対象としたカリキュラム編成および教育方法(調査研究報告)}, volume = {3}, year = {1997} }
