 note = {The university library in the 21th century will be characterized as "Digital Library" and the university students will require the advanced library literacy. In 1996, we started the general lecture "Information Retrieval and Its Application" as a liberal art subject in the cooperation of the faculty staff and the librarian for students. In this paper, we describe the concept, method and evaluation of the second lecture which has been done in 1997. According to the students' evaluation after the lecture in the same way last year, this lecture was very useful for students attended.},
