This class concentrated on two themes which underwent drastic changes recently: 1) ageing society and social security, and 2) physician-patient relationship and informed consent. Two physicians, one journalist, and three professors from within the university (economics, law, ethics) participated as lectures. As a way to extract questions from otherwise reticent students, they were required to submit, after each session, a short report with questions and impressions.
