The dental mirror is necessary to guide the light into the mouth and examine the lingual and palatal surfaces of the teeth indirectly as called the mirror technique. Dental students must master this technique order to discover the dental caries, to measure the periodontal pockets, to detect the plaque and calculus, to prepare the cavity, to remove the excess of set cement and so on surely before the following clinical practice. But, so far, it couldn't evaluate objectively that a learner could really see an object with the dental mirror in the preclinical training. So, eight to ten dots were marked on the surfaces of an artificial tooth. Twenty-eight permanent artificial teeth marked with a total of 260 dots were embedded in a law model in the manikin The learners tried to find those dots with the dental mirror and the number of dots detected was counted as a score. The instructor could evaluate the student's capability of mirror technique oblectively. And the feedback to the learners became much easier.}, pages = {25--27}, title = {歯科臨床系基礎実習におけるミラーテクニックの修得および客観的技能評価のための人工歯モデルの導入(授業研究・教材開発(プロジェクト経費報告書))}, volume = {12}, year = {2007} }
