The report addresses re-evaluation the purpose and methods of the independent monitor unit verification for conventional radiation therapy in light of the complexities of modern-day treatment planning. The report also provides recommendations on establishing action levels for agreement between primary calculations and verification, and guidance in addressing discrepancies outside the action levels.
