Through a stepwise procedure, the hill shade, March-snow depth and May-quantity of whole sky sunlight were selected for a best-fit regression model. Then, when we analyze large area as the whole Niigata Prefecture area, availability of climate factor was approved. But, in this model the multiple correlation coefficients was 0.436.
