Protein contents of rice grainpositively correlated with leaf color (SPAD values) from boot stage to time of harvesting, and showed highest correlationcoefficient of 0.897 at milky stage. So, it was suggested that the field with low or high protein contents could be separatelyharvested using the border leaf color SPAD value 33 at the milky stage.
