 note = {The debris flow that occurred at the foot of Hieda-yama on July 13, 1985, struck the observatory of the Ministry of Construction, and totally destroyed a substantial part of the facilities. Another debris flow, probably of concurrent occurrence, took place in old Kanayama-zawa. The authors have investigated the cause of these debris flows and the landform changes at the debris flow sites, and have reconstructed the physical feature of down-flowing.},
